Body Butter Bar

Butter bars are cute and very easy to make. With silicone molds in all shapes and sizes you can create a variety of bars. Spoil yourself or make them a personal gift!

For this recipe you'll need:
56 gr of Shea butter
56 gr of sweet almond oil
56 gr of cocoa butter
28 gr of jojoba oil
28 gr of coconut oil.
I didn't have that so I used avocado oil, but I would definitely use the coconut oil, it has a nice smell and gives you that tropical feeling together with the shea butter and cocoa butter.
half a cup of bee wax (or any other wax)
Essential oil .
I used 20 drops, but you can use more, I just like the natural scent of the honey and butters.
A Pyrex jug.
A silicone mold

You start by melting the butters, bee wax and  almond oil together. You can put them in the Pyrex jug, and either use a bain marie or just put it in the microwave until it all has melted.  Then add the other oils, stir and add the essential oil. Stir it one more time and now it's time to grab your mold and pour the mixture in there. The jug is really good for that, be gentle and you won't spill. Put the mold in your fridge (for fast results) and wait for the bars to harden.

It's important to store the bars you're not using somewhere cool and dark. This recipe was enough to fill both of these silicone molds. Whenever your skin needs a little loving take out a bar, massage it onto your skin and enjoy!
