Sugar & Oatmeal Facial Peeling

This facial peeling/scrub is super easy and cheap, and a 100% natural.

sounds almost too good to be true right?

For this recipe you'll need

*40 gr of oatmeal
*30 gr of brown sugar (or any other sugar)
*30 gr of sesame oil or olive oil

if you want to go for a "luxury" version of this recipe, you can switch to jojoba oil or sweet almond oil.
I would also recommend adding 10 drops of rosewood essential oil and 4 drops of lavender essential oil. It's my favorite essential oil combinations and the smell is just heavenly.

So you start by crunching the oatmeal flakes and brown sugar. If you're using granulated sugar the grains will be small enough already so you'll have to crunch the oatmeal. Mix the two together, and put them in a glass bowl or jar. Poor the oil (and essential oil if you want to) onto the oatmeal/sugar mixture. Give it a good stir to make sure you get an even mixture.

So this is the final result, although my mixture looks a bit wetter than your mixture should, I had some problems with my scales. So how do we use this? Apply about a teaspoon (a nice full teaspoon) to a moist face, and softly scrub your face by moving your fingers in a circular motion. The sugar will melt a bit, and will have a mild peeling effect on your skin. Leave it on for a few minutes and wash it off with just water. Softly  dry your face and enjoy a soft skin :)
